Some critics have argued for years that the Oscars prize is for the most acting rather than the best operating. The claim is also demonstrable, as seen by Joaquin Phoenix’s gentle work in The Master or You Were Not Really These and his great showy take on the Joker becoming well-known. A 1950s-styled market is terrorized by an conventional pug-nosed cartoon character climbing out of a movie screen in the Doctor Who set 15 trailer trailer. Russell T Davies, the producer behind the character, was mocked in Doctor Who Magazine 613 as” an older pal of the show, think who”? !
No thinking is necessary because Alan Cumming, the voice of professional, musicals legend, and presenter of The Traitors US, has been confirmed. In the historic story account” The Witchfinders” from line 11, Cumming portrayed King James I during the Jodie Whittaker time.
Cumming voices the character of Mr. Ring-a-Ding in episode two of the new series, which is scheduled to premiere on BBC One and Disney + on April 12 ( with episodes available for streaming on BBC iPlayer from 8am in the UK prior to broadcast that evening ). He is described as a “happy, interesting, singalong film” who lives in Sunny Town with his companion Sunshine Sally. But, in 1952, Mr. Ring-a-Ding suddenly looks beyond the camera and sees the real world outside, and the results are terrifying.
Rose Ayling-Ellis, a former Batman, Ludwig, and a previous Strictly Come Dancing champion who was once rumored to be the Doctor’s new partner before Millie Gibson’s arrival, joins Cumming as friend set 15 host. Rose rose rose “takes it to a whole new level,” according to RTD in her episode from DWM 613. In one of the most frightful episodes we’ve ever produced, she screams in with an astonishing performance of terror, anger, and bravery.
Christopher Chung, who was previously credited with portraying the genius hacker Roddy Ho as the overall pillock in Apple TV +’s spy thriller Slow Horses, will also play Cassio Palin in the new episodes of the series. And we’ve been anticipating for a while that Millie Gibson will join The Little Mermaid‘s Eric, also known as Jonah Hauer-King, in the series opener.
Returning cast members include, of course, Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday, and newcomer Belind Chandra played by Varada Sethu as Belinda. Anita Dobson will play the mysterious Mrs. Flood, Michelle Greenidge will play the mother of Ruby, Ruth Madeley will play the UNIT scientist Shirley Anne Bingham, Jemma Redgrave will play the UNIT boss Kate Lethbridge-Stewart, and Susan Twist will play, presumably, tech magnate Susan Triad.

On Saturday April 12, 2025, Doctor Who season 15/season 2 premieres on BBC One and iPlayer in the UK and Disney + around the world.
