Like Sklenar, Jake Gillenhaal has shown up more as a fan cast suggestion than as someone begging to get the part. But he has at least commented upon the possiblity. On the one hand, Gyllenhaal’s reply is expected. Who isn’t going to be interested in playing a wildly popular figure in a film that will undoubtedly bring in millions of dollars? On the other hand, twenty years ago, Gyllenhaal was the front-runner for Batman Begins. And while he hasn’t had the chance to play a fresh Batman, he might be in the right place to play an older Batman who struggles with paternity.

Robert Pattinson

Perhaps Robert Pattinson shouldn’t even be on this record for a few factors. First of all, because he’s already Batman and plays the part in Matt Reeves ‘” The Batman.” Next, he hasn’t mentioned wanting to appear in The Brave and the Bold. Carter and Gunn have both stated that The Batman is distinct from the rest of the DCU, and next, Reeves and Gunn have done the same.

And yet, the more the Batman role in The Brave and the Bold is unfilled, the more we consider Pattinson merely taking the place.
