Wonder Gentleman: Who is He? If you’re not a fan of Marvel Comics, you might have been asking that question since you learned about the impending MCU series. Now that Marvel&#8217 has released the first trailer for the present, that problem has a few new layers of significance.

The trailer introduces the world of Wonder Man, where the mythical warrior is the legend of a popular sci-fi line from the &#8217, 60s or &#8217, 70s, something similar to Star Trek: The Original Series. Out-of-work actor Simon Williams ( Yahya Abdul-Mateen II ) sees a chance at stardom when a reclusive European filmmaker called Von Kovacs ( Zlatko Buri, who was recently seen playing a political allegory in Superman ) decides to revive the character for a new movie.

Know Man is swaying a lot from the character’s comic book roots only based on this teaser. Wonder Guy first appeared as a musclebound part of Masters of Evil in 1964&#8217, Avengers #9, with the assistance of Stan Lee, Don Heck, and Jack Kirby. Question Man perishes in the battle, but he doesn’t realize that Baron Zemo duped him to defeat the Avengers and aids Earth’s Mightiest Heroes until he realizes that he has been duped. Even if Ultron after uses his mind patterns to aid in the creation of Vision, he remains useless for a long time.

Know Man eventually returns as an ionic becoming and makes his rightful home in the Avengers, where he becomes best friends with the X-Man Beast and after the West Coast Avengers. Know Man also has a stint working as a Hollywood stuntman, which is a peculiar plot line that has unmistakably influenced the Wonder Man TV set.

Very little of that humorous book nature is revealed in the trailer besides the Hollywood setting. However, footage from the first Wonder Man film does show the hero sporting a variation of Williams ‘ red and green duds in his first appearance.

The Wonder Man trailer is jam-packed with references, including those to Marvel itself, despite how narrow on comic book references it may be. The preview depicts a world where everyone is sick of hero films, perhaps the purest illustration of Stan Lee’s desire for the Marvel Universe to be. The government is perplexed when a producer of Van Kovac&#8217, s appearance decides to take on the Question Man home. A real artist would like to collaborate with characters, but why?

We also hear a little bit of Van Kovac discussing the current mythology of characters, which is a contention that is prevalent in many comic book stores, and we also see fresh Simon Williams watching aged Wonder Man videos, which suggests that the hero has a primal instinct in all people.

Did Wonder Man be able to persuade Wonder Man that Marvel is today’s high art? Or will Wonder Man‘s continuous incessant jokes make it a real sequel to the debating She-Hulk: Attorney at Law? We&#8217, ill find out soon.
