Perhaps Robert Pattinson shouldn’t even be on this record for a few factors. First of all, because he is already Batman and plays the part in Matt Reeves’ The Batman. Next, he hasn’t mentioned wanting to appear in The Brave and the Bold. Carter and Gunn have both made it clear that The Batman is distinct from the rest of the DCU.

And still, the more the Batman role in The Brave and the Bold is unfilled, the more likely it is that Pattinson will assume the role. Yes, he portrays the Dark Knight in a more grounded, younger, and personal way than the Grant Morrison cartoons, with its squad and crazy scientists from other dimensions. However, it’s difficult to imagine that Gunn isn’t giving a damn about bringing him into the primary DCU because Pattinson already has the suit.
