Hidden Treasures

The Mess, the main dining room that welcomes guests before it was claimed by pirates, was once occupied by Spanish soldiers. Captain Jack’s presence is evident throughout the bar, right down to the posting of his Pirate’s Oath, despite the fact that he is personally barred from entry due to outstanding debts.

The Mapmaker’s Room also contains the illuminating work of a cartographer who yearned desperately to make the world’s first map. A cannon ball was lodged into the wall where pirates had to fire upon the room after the mapmaker barricaded himself in, along with some black-light effects and an enchanted compass. &nbsp,

And above the Cursed Bar is a dangling, dirty foot of a lone pirate who is squatting in a hammock suspended from the ceiling, similar to a scoundrel seen in the Pirates attraction. All of this is to say that The Beak and Barrel’s every corner is filled with surprises that satisfy the curious. And that includes the dramatic encounters that take place in the bar, where sirens enchant guests with their magical calls, squalls roll in, and everyone is encouraged to choose a pirate’s life by yelling” Yo, Ho”!
