The most recent ( and final ) trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps features mostly good vibes. We&#8217, ve got Ben Grimm ( Ebon Moss-Bachrach ) and Johnny Storm ( Joseph Quinn ) bantering about the Thing &#8217, s catchphrase, &#8220, It&#8217, s clobberin&#8217, time. We&#8217 have legions of adoring viewers cheering on their soldiers in vibrant, retro-futuristic settings. The entire crew expressing their love for one another as a home is what we need.

However, beneath these trucks is a dark substance, not just because Silver Surfer delivers dreadful news. The Fantastic Four will soon be a part of the major Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the group promising their commitment to one another and Reed’s uncertainty, which are both absent from the trailer’s major story. So it seems obvious that Marvel’s novel heroes in their comeback movie will ultimately be the losers. The trailers continue to make that concept seem realistic, and virtual fans have long speculated about a depressing conclusion to First Steps.

Next, let’s examine how Galactus is used in the cartoons. The trailer borrows a lot of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby‘s Fantastic Four# 48 to 50 ( 1966 ).
